Chances are it hasn't been tested for durability and integrity. A cheap part that fails early is less than a bargain, and certainly not a value. By the same token, an expensive part, boxed in a pretty green & white package, is no value when an identical part of the same quality can be had for less.

• The majority of our inventory is from original equipment manufacturers (OEM). These are the same companies that make the parts for Land Rover. By buying direct from the manufacturer we avoid paying the higher prices that the "Land Rover brand" demands.
  In some cases we have found an after-market item whose quality and integrity actually surpasses the original.

A: The letters are the initials of the founders of the company.

Q: Does D.A.P. sell used parts?
A: We are not a salvage yard, however, we have a small stock of used Series Land Rover bits.

Q: Can I install a more powerful engine in my Series Rover?
A: Yes, adapters are available for many engines, but we don't recommend anything more than a 4 cylinder, as it will put too much stress on the rest of the drivetrain.

Q: I have searched all over this website, but I cannot find the part I need, does this mean D.A.P. doesn't have it?
A: No, this site lists only a minute portion of our huge inventory, call us with your parts needs.

Q: My Air-Suspension equipped Range Rover Classic is sitting on it's bump-stops. I don't want to spend thousands to fix it, can I convert it to coil springs?
A: Yes, we have conversion parts for that. Click here for details.

Q: What kind of brake fluid is safe to use in my Series Rover?
A: Castrol GT LMA brake fluid will not deteriorate the seals.

Q: My firewall has rusted away, can you sell me a new one?
A: No, Rover has not produced a Series firewall in many years. We can supply repair panels at a very reasonable price.

Q: My late Series IIA / III needs new amber signal lights, can I get them from D.A.P.?
A: No, those 4" amber lamps were "export" spec only, Lucas has not made them in many years, we can supply you with "home-market" spec lamps.

Q: I want to buy a Land Rover in the UK, can D.A.P. arrange it's transport for me?
A: No, we do not import vehicles.
