We don't play games. Matching a cheap generic part
with a name brand accessory and selling the kit as "name brand" is
a common scam- we won't do it, but most others do. We also don't
make up fake brand names for generic parts.

Why are our prices so low? Our overhead is low and
we are the importer. Other US parts outlets buy from distributors-
we ARE the distributor. Maybe you should ask why their prices are
so high.

What does D.A.P. stand for?
The letters are the initials of the company
founders.
Does D.A.P. sell used parts?
We have some obscure parts for vintage
vehicles that are no longer available new, but we are not a
dismantler.
The web site doesn't list the part I need, does that
mean DAP doesn't have it?
The web site is less than 10% of our parts
inventory- Call or email us with your needs.
Can you send me a catalog?
You can request a catalog online in the
catalogs section.
Can you import a Land Rover for me?
No. We are not car importers
I belong to a club, do I get a discount?
Our prices are already the best in the
business, you don't need to have a club membership to take
advantage. We will do 'group buys' for clubs, contact us for more
information.
I have a Rover I want restored or customized, where
do I send it?
We do the finest restorations and custom
Rovers, period. Call for details.
Can I order online?
At this time, no. Online ordering is not as
secure as people think. If you are a repeat customer, call us to set
up email ordering.
What are core charges?
Some parts require the return of your original
broken part- although it must be rebuildable and must be the same
model/application. Core charges are charged to you when you purchase
the new part and refunded when we receive your old part in good
condition.
I'm not sure what's wrong with my Rover- can I just
buy some parts and return them if it wasn't the problem?
Once a part is installed, it cannot be
returned unless defective for exchange. No returns on electrical
items.
What is the warranty on parts?
One year minimum, sometimes more depending on
the part. Warranty begins from date of purchase.
Can I ship parts to my mechanic?
Yes, we can ship you parts anywhere you
specify.
How do you ship my parts?
We have daily pickups from FedEx and UPS. We
can accommodate USPS but cannot guarantee same day shipping when
using USPS. Regular freight shipments leave for destinations around
the USA and the world for larger parts such as engines and chassis.
