Shipping Methods

The majority of our orders are shipped via United Parcel Service. We have found this method to be reliable, timely, and very satisfactory to our customers. Orders are shipped via UPS Ground Service unless otherwise specified. All normal UPS services are available (Next Day Air, 2nd Day Air, etc.). If the destination is beyond the contiguous 48 states, special conditions apply. Call for details.

Large items such as engines or nudge bars are shipped by common carrier. The company chosen is dependant upon the destination. We can furnish an estimate of the shipping charges at the time of your order. Most motor freight companies charge an additional fee for residential deliveries. If you can furnish a commercial address for delivery, you can save yourself some money.

Damage

Our shipments are packed with the greatest of care to insure that they reach their destination in perfect condition. Occasionally an item may suffer shipping damage. All items are insured for their full value. Delivery of any item is the responsibility of the carrier. Should you receive any damaged merchandise, please notify the carrier at once. Please retain all of the original packaging. The carrier will inspect the package, and settlement will be made.

Q: Can my order be shipped directly to my repair shop?
A: Yes, we can ship your order to anyone you specify.

Q: Can my order be sent via the US Postal Service?
A: Yes, if you have special requirements, we can arrange shipment via the Post Office.
However, an additional handling fee may apply, We cannot guarantee same day shipping, and package tracking is not available. Certain other limitations apply, call for details.

Q: I live outside of the United States, can I order from D.A.P.?
A: Yes, we can ship internationally, prevailing rates apply. Any and all import/customs duties are the responsibility of the recipient.

Q: Does D.A.P. use any other delivery service besides UPS?
A: Yes, should the need arise, we can ship via FedEx, call for details.

Q: I have my own UPS/FedEx account, can you bill the shipping charges my account?
A: Yes, if you provide a valid account number, upon receipt of a written confirmation, we can bill the shipping to your account.

Q: I want my order shipped C.O.D., can I pay with cash?
A: No, UPS does not accept currency. C.O.D.'s must be paid with a money order or cashiers check.
