1965 Land Rover Series IIA 109 Regular
Originally a Colorado vehicle, I have the original title. It came off from a game preserve or ranch, used very little. It was sold with 14K original miles on it and now has 21,000 miles (see odometer photo). The engine was converted in the late 1970’s to a Chevy straight 6 . This was a professional conversion. The frame is in very good shape, I have the safari top for it (hardtop) and windows for the doors. Located in Sunapee, NH.

1989 Range Rover County
Red with tan leather. 185K miles. Always garaged. I drove this Range Rover every day to work and it’s great in Vermont winters and mud season. I’ve put over $5,250 into maintenance the three years before I put it in the garage. Four new M&S tires. It's been garaged for three years and is sold as is. It needs brakes and fluid lines. I'd like someone who wants to restore this classic.
Located in VT.

1991 Range Rover Classic
111900 plus miles, Clean title. Bad: This truck will need new drivers
floor, both rear wheel arch rusted needs patching (holes). Rear gate
floor sheet metal needs repair, some missing plastic and al. trims, head
liner sagging, rear sub busted. A/C needs recharge, steering pump leaks,
I just add every few hundred miles. Good: Aftermarket new exhaust system
put in Dec. 2007 (from cat back, shop around and see how much these
cost). Replaced rusted brake lines. Passed New Jersey state
emission/safety inspection good for two years in Dec. 2007. This is my
slow project truck to restore but I bought 95 classic to restore, can't
keep both. I'm using the truck everyday in this condition and it runs
well. Located in New Jersey.

Discovery |

1996 Discovery 7-passenger Epsom Green with tan leather interior. Has a 5x7 inches battle scar above rear left light- light works fine, just cosmetic damage. Nice running and idling truck. New Yokohama ATS tires with less than 11k on them. New rotors all around. I changed the oil every 2000 to 2800 miles- and can prove it with documentation. Truck has 142500 on it. Burns no oil period. New ECU both main and alarm. New brake fluid
reservoirs and coolant res. New belt all hoses nice. No wacky front end
issues on highway. Drives as the Queen intended at 75mph. it does 85 and
more too but it's a heavy Rover so 75mph is good enough. New exhaust last fall. ABS light on. Radiator was weeping slightly so it was a perfect candidate for radiator stop leak and now doesn't lose a drop. AC working fine. 7
passenger truck. Wife loves and drives this truck but 13mpg for an everyday car is getting a bit rich for my pocket. Had wires and plugs 20k ago. Very important for those in the know are- 1. Diff lock works fine not stuck like most older trucks- so no expensive repair needed. 2. Color on the inside of the engine fill cap is not black and nasty. It's the right brownish color that a healthy 8 should be. Truck was owned by a top Rover mechanic before me. So it's got new oil lines and front end is tight. All windows work. I'll take
$1650 or BO to the person who knows Rovers. For 200 more will include a TJM front alloy
brush bar, they are NLA and retailed for around 400.00. Located in the
Boston area.

1995 Defender Fastback A nice clean, D90. Has been garaged for all of it's Northeast life, and hasn't seen salt since being on this coast. Bought it as it was the rig I had always wanted, but was always more happy wheeling and scratching up my other rigs, it was too pretty to abuse. So after a long time in the garage and a bunch of debate, I have decided to pass it on and focus my efforts on my another truck.
I can supply pictures of anything on the tuck. I also have a Carfax available if desired.

1994 Defender 90 ST #8
Selling my 1994 D90, in almost stock condition. 155k miles. The vehicle lives in Vermont, is garaged all winter and only driven by me a handful of times during the summer. I can't justify keeping it any more (at least, I can't justify to the powers that be!). It's probably only been driven 4000 miles in all that time. This is Defender #8 - one of the first. It has a couple of quirks - an auxiliary fuel tank with transfer pump, and a dual battery setup. I was told that the fuel tank setup was done by LR, but I'm not sure if that's true or not. There's a small switch on the steering column and a warning light that comes in in the instrument cluster when the pump is running.

1994 Defender 90, continued
All the work that has been done on the vehicle was done by Matt Browne at Overland Engineering in Maine. If you know Matt, I'm sure he'd be able to vouch for the vehicles strengths/flaws.
I have owned it about 3 years, and in that time I have:
-New R380 gearbox and transfer case
-New stock shocks and springs throughout
-New stepper motor, stepper motor cable
-New Badger top
-New carpet set
-New exmoor trim black vinyl drivers and passengers seats
-New stock rear tire carrier and new third brake light
-New door skins and new stainless hinges
-New rear step bumper
-New side sills
-Roll cage newly powdercoated
-Front bumper powdercoated
-Vehicle completely waxoyled underneath
-Rear hubs rebuilt
-New starter motor
-Other miscellaneous bits and pieces that I'd have to dig up the receipts on.
Vehicle also comes with a set of 4 alloy wheels that are fitted with Goodyear Workhorse 265/75 R16 tires, AND two Exmoor trim flip and fold REAR seats which have not been installed but are still brand new in their box. Seat belts are still in the vehicle from the original bench seat (which is also thrown in for good measure !). Lastly, I'll throw in a SPARE ECU.
Now for the bad bits...There is a slight ding on the drivers side behind the door above the sill. The bonnet is a bit wavy, probably from pervious owners putting wheels onto the bonnet mount. The check engine light comes on - the fault code is 48 (Stepper Motor) and I believe it is something to do with base idle speed. The stepper motor and its cable are new, so I don't believe that to be a problem. The vehicle starts and runs well, though it does idle high when starting from cold and not allowed to warm up for a bit. I haven't put any time or $ into troubleshooting or fixing it. According to Matt the engine runs well and has good compression.

1997 Defender 90
1-of-A-Kind 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 TDI (turbo diesel -
Automatic)! This is the truck that has been featured in many articles
and publications as well as british car and off road events. Has won
many technical driving contest and is basically bulletproof and
unstoppable. I am the original owner of this British Racing Green 1997
Land Rover Defender 90. It is a north American spec 90 that has been
heavily modified for both on an off road performance. NAS badge # upon
request. This truck was delivered with the normal 4.0 liter V8. @ about
43,000 mile (or there about), I did a well publicized V8 to diesel
conversion, (2.5 liter, 300TDI Land Rover military issue and BMW
redesigned motor). ((not a gas to diesel conversion)) PLEASE NOTE:
approximately 86,000 miles on new drive train. 129,000 on vehicles
odometer roughly.

1997 Defender 90, continued
This was a long and very expensive process with all of the OEM engine,
transmission and north american frame spec mods. We went with the Land
Rover, BMW redesigned 2000/2001 300TDI. The truck is quick, bulletproof,
runs great and has a incredible off and on road prowess. Instead of the 8-10
MPG i was getting with the V8 and large tires...I now get about 22ishMPG.
(with stock sized tires, I would guess the MPG would jump up to 30/32MPGish.
The body is in very good D90 condition. some small corrosion, small dings
and minor paint/finish all typical of this vintage and automobile. The truck
is my current daily driver and has been since I purchased it new from Land
Rover Peabody. (MA). Other mods include, (but are not limited to): 300TDI
(111.3 BHP 195 lb/ft of torque (from 1800 rpm virtually onward)! Heavy duty
ZF 4 speed automatic transmission (European tdi Land Rover Discovery
transmission) ARB locking differentials front and rear ARB compressor and
custom Land Rover OEM switching kit (needs a switch i think) Ashcroft 4:10
gear set Deep water fording kit, extended breathers for all diffs and crank
case into the snorkel Raised air intake (a.k.a. snorkel - some rust) Custom
short exhaust. (small end corrosion) Suspension: Custom stainless spacers
1/2" and 3/4" - Land Rover Heavy Duty Euro-Disco coil springs Bilstein
shocks - lifetime warrantee Custom Rovers North bumper kit with high lift
jack mounts Body Armor and skid plates and recovery equipment: Land Rover
black aluminum wing protectors. (diamond/tread plate) custom ARB bumper, 2
Camel Trophy hitches custom steel rock sliders with jack points Southdown uk
steering, front diff. and rear differential skid plate system (1/2" steel
plate) Southdown USA powder coated rear fuel tank skid plate Safari Guard
rear bumperettes (full Land Rover NAS roll cage) Super Winch Husky 10 Winch
Husky stainless steel cable Super Winch heavy duty roller fair lead Camel
Trophy floating recovery ring Dixon Bates Military pintle Custom build S11
rear light protectors (galvanized then powder coated black) Land Rover NATO
steel wheel set. (basically bulletproof) 36" Super Swamper radial tires
Random: Optima D31 yellow top battery (brand new) Custom stainless steel 1",
black powder coated seat rail / lifters Rovers North stainless steel mesh
grill New Rovers North soft top roof - big ticket but worth it. Nearly $100k
invested. - The vehicle and more pictures are available upon request -
serious inquiries only please) Minor things that I am aware of: 1. samll
coolant gasket needs replacing. I think this gasket is about $20 plus labor.
Only weeping, but shoud be done. 2. front prop shaft needs replacing. I have
a great cheap source for all driveline components. approximate cost to
replace...$300ish. 3. small typical british / d90 electric issues. 4. There
is no radio or rear seat currently. 5. Exhaust - some easy to fix corrosion.
(passes emissions/inspections here in MA) 6. Tires are currently 36" Super
Swamper radials. 75/80% wear left on fronts. The rears have over 80k on them
and should maybe be replaced soon with a spare. I did not do as I did not
know if someone would reduce the tire size or go stock again. The engine has
had the cooling system pully bits and pieces upgraded to the newer spec. New
serpentine belt. Located in Massachusetts.
